John A Rausch, Associate AIA,

John Rausch is a founding member of JGMA and the Director of Sustainability. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. John also studied at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona. John collaborated on the recently completed, award-winning projects including the UNO Soccer Academy and the Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy. Currently he is working on a zero-energy home for the Serosun Farms sustainable residential development in Illinois. The house is designed to be passively heated and cooled and is slated to achieve LEED Platinum certification. His other energy and resource conscious projects include a design for the Chicago Architecture Club’s ‘Envisioning the Bloomingdale Line’ Competition, which was

chosen to be exhibited and published in the CAC's Bloomingdale Journal. Most recently John completed an entry for Working Public Architecture (WPA 2.0) design competition which sought innovative, implementable proposals that placed infrastructure at the heart of rebuilding our cities during this next era of metropolitan recovery.
