The multi-million dollar state-of-the-art media and technology center is the new home to the Kansas City Star. The full media operation includes offices, conferencing, and a museum.
Our strategy was to create a building that is bold enough to say it is about industry and design. Conventional barriers of solid walls have been stripped away and replaced with glass. Manufacturing components are strategically located to highlight the areas of greatest activity and diminish the mundane.

The design achieved its goal to stay in line with Star's commitment to the community and the environment as well as completing the project ahead of
schedule and below budget.
